Since time immemorial, we have been learning about the close knit relationship between water and mankind. Recent studies have shown that the underground water table has been decreasing at an alarming rate, mainly due to inefficient utilisation, mismanagement and wastage of water.<\/p>
This vitriolic issue of wasting water needs to be addressed immediately. Students of class 10 were sensitised towards the burning issue of wasting water by a series of activities to raise awareness on the same. Bulletin boards on water conservation were designed with catchy slogans, pictures and newspaper clippings. While learning about the water resources of India in the Geography class, the students came to know about various efficient ways of agriculture without wasting water and rainwater harvesting. An assembly on water conservation was also conducted to bring the message of saving water to light.<\/p>
